    Good Afternoon!

WSU Tri-Cities will be hosting its 2nd Annual Night with the Arts event on September 25th from 5:30pm -9:00pm. An evening dedicated to a rich and interactive artistic experience on our beautiful WSU Tri-Cities campus.

This year we will be expanding our event to include more live performances, more entertainment, more involvement from our Mid-Columbia cultural partners, an expanded children’s art showcase themed “I Am an Artist” sponsored by Dr. Yichien Cooper, local food vendors, a cider garden (sponsored by d’s Wicked Cider) and most especially… vendors that will be selling and show casing their work. If you are interested in participating, sponsoring or being an art vendor for this fantastic event, please contact me at your convenience.

Please feel free to distribute this information to those you feel would be interested.

Thanks and I look forward to speaking you with you soon.

  2. Hello Arts Foundation Board
I am also a board member of Allied Arts Association. I am the volunteer chair for The Children’s Summer Workshops and instructor for monthly painting classes for kids.
I would love to show members around our gallery. If you are interested please email or call 967xxxx. I look forward to hearing from your organization.

I am writing this as a former president and board member of Allied Arts Association, although I am not speaking for them. I believe that Allied Arts Association is the oldest art organization in the Tri-cities (64 uninterrupted years) and our mission has always been to bring art to the community and represent artists in many ways. After reading your goals, the thought occurred to me that there was a duplication of effort here and that possibly there could be some type of collaboration between your organization and Allied Arts Association. I am not sure what that would be. I do know that at times it is a struggle to maintain a full-time gallery, offer scholarships, children’s workshops, adult workshops, juried shows, etc. Feedback has often made us realize that even after 64 years, many people do not know that we exist. Perhaps that is where some type of collaboration could occur.

I would be interested in learning more about your organization and perhaps working with you.
