Feedback from the over 80 attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with most evaluations giving presenters 5-out-of-5; the lowest-rated workshop averaged 4.3 overall. The most popular workshops were from new and returning presenters, including topics such as Making the Break from Traditional to Indie Publishing, from keynote speaker Delilah Marvelle; The Media Interview, from Tri-Cities radio personality Greg Martin; and Real Fighting in Fiction, from Amazon best-selling author Jason Bond.
“The speakers and authors were all so friendly and kind in sharing their knowledge,” said one attendee. Another commented, “It was hard to decide which class to attend – there were so many excellent choices!” The most-requested way to improve the conference was to have more workshops available, either starting earlier or running later in the day. Several attendees provided contact information, expressing an interest in volunteering for the event or joining the committee.
