Grant Writing Partnership

Arts Foundation and Mid-Columbia Mastersingers Partner on Grant Writing Initiative

Grant Money

The Arts Foundation of the Mid-Columbia (AFMC) and the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers (MCM) announced in November 2014 that together we have received grants from the Fox/ Vance Family Foundation, and an anonymous donor to fund the Matching Funds Grant Writing Initiative.

As an AFMC grant partner, the MCM will receive matching funds, up to $2000, to hire grant writers to support its programs and mission. The AFMC will continue to pursue grant money for the Matching Funds Grant Writing Initiative. Once additional funds are received, the AFMC will issue a Request for Proposal from other arts organizations who need matching funds for grant writing.

Through this initiative, grant writing monies will be available  to AFMC members who qualify

I run a local non profit called Vibe Music Center. We have classes and lessons for all ages. We are looking for help with grants as well. I would be interested in learning more about grant requests and what is involved as we are a new non profit and are barely surviving. We serve several low income families and could use the help to keep these kids involved in music.
