Walter Timmons

A self-proclaimed “military brat” who graduated from Grandview High School, Walter Timmons brings a unique perspective to the Arts Foundation of Mid-Columbia as Board Treasurer and chair to business and event committees. Walter draws on his experience as a Commercial Relationship Manager at Banner Bank, to perform financial oversight, record-keeping and devise new inventive ways to fundraise and network the foundation.

Mr. Timmons is a proud alum of Washington State University, of which he is a season ticket holder to Coug football. When not visiting his alma mater as a spectator, you can find Walter on the softball field, occasional golf course, and basketball court where he boasts a lifetime 50% field goal average.

While his profession is not explicitly arts-related, Walter previously served on Leadership Tri-Cities Class XX where he partnered with AFMC to implement and promote Tr!-Art, an art contest that melded local businesses with artisans to help serve the mission of AFMC of supporting and promoting arts in our community. Walter is a strong, integral and veteran member of our board, and we’re happy to have him.
