About AFMC

The Arts Foundation of the Mid Columbia (AFMC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to enlivening, enriching, and promoting community through arts and artists. We proudly serve the regions of Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon, and Eastern Idaho, but are always looking to connect and collaborate with other venues, foundations, and artists worldwide.

AFMC differs from our other regional colleagues and partners in that we exist to serve the disciplines of visual, literary and multimedia arts. Annually, we host and sponsor a number of events that include gallery exhibitions, art walks, and workshops. Our goal is to elevate art, artists and appreciation because we believe it strengthens the cultural fabric of our region.

AFMC partners and supports other regional arts organizations including the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers, Mid-Columbia Musical Theater, the Mid-Columbia Symphony and the Mid-Columbia Ballet. Additionally, AFMC is a partner of the Arts Center Task Force, a grassroots organization focused on building the region’s first performing arts center.
